Calculators give the right number and zero context, so 8th graders pass quizzes without learning math. This tool returns the answer plus a collapsible, step-by-step trace — distributive property, common denominators, unit conversions — written in the voice of a patient tutor. The first user is a parent at the kitchen table who hates the phrase 'just trust me.' Proof it could be real: every step is a deterministic SymPy expansion of the same expression the calculator evaluated.
Who it is for: Middle- and high-school students, the parents helping them, and tutors who want a homework receipt.
